George Quillen Mullins age 65, passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2020 in Norton Community Hospital, Norton, Virginia.  Mr. Mullins was born in Dickenson County and was a disabled coal miner. He loved spending time with his family, friends and horses.

Mr. Mullins was preceded in death by his parents, Carton and Cotella Mullins; 2 brothers, Gary and David Mullins; 1 nephew, Billy Moore.

Survivors include his sons, George W. and Mason T. Mullins of Clintwood; daughter, Jennifer Boyd of Clintwood; brothers, Bayard Mullins of Clintwood, Goble Mullins of Bristol, Florida, Olen Mullins of Castlewood and Patton Mullins of Clintwood; 6 sisters, Dreama Kelley and Danny of Clintwood, Glenna Shortt of Clintwood, Garnett Edwards of Clintwood, Mabel Bolling and Danny of Clintwood, Gloria Mullins of Castlewood and Frances Stanley of Clintwood; grandchildren, Jeana Boyd, Ryan Boyd, Jayda Williams and Arrianna Mullins; great-grandchildren, Bradley, Jax and Bentley Boyd; the mother of his children, Peggy Moore.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, July 12th, 9:30 am, at Little Hope Church with Elders Earl Dean Yates, Terry Hall and others officiating.
