Garnett Mullins Robinson, age 74, passed away Monday, May 23, 2016. Mrs. Robinson was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a lifelong resident of Dickenson County, a former member of the Dickenson County Republican Party, Clintwood Lions Club and State Board of Mental Health.

Mrs. Robinson was preceded in death by her husband, Rodney Robinson, parents, Earnest and Nettie (Mullins) Davidson and sisters, Pauline Barton and Edna Faye Mullins.

Survivors include three sons, Jeff Robinson ( Teresa) of Clinchco, Bill Robinson (Jennifer) of Clintwood and Jerry Robinson of Clinchco; brothers, Jimmy Mullins (Barbara) of Chesterfield, Virginia, Virgil Mullins (Dale) of Huntsville, Alabama and Sonny Mullins of Milford, Michigan; sisters, Thelma Dalton of Blountville, Tennessee, Evelyn Fleming (Sam) of Church Hill, Tennessee, Fonnie Taylor (Lee) of Bee, Virginia and Dolly Conley (Gene) of Clintwood; grandchildren, Miranda Fleming, Billy Robinson, Jr., Ashley Mullins and Telena Mullins; 8 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Wednesday May 25th beginning at 6:00 PM in the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 PM will Caleb Goodman officiating. Family and friends are requested to meet at the funeral home at 12 Noon on Thursday, May 26 th , to proceed to Robinson Cemetery on Nealy Ridge for graveside services. Pallbearers will be Billy Robinson, Jr., Wesley Mullins, Tim Mullins, Richard Fleming, Brad Taylor and Brent Taylor. Honorary pallbearers are Sam Fleming, Bobby Hammons and Lee Taylor.
