Freddie Wayne Church, age 66, passed away, Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at Dickenson Community Hospital, Clintwood. Mr. Church was a lifelong resident of Dickenson County, a 1966 graduate of Ervinton High School and was of the Baptist Faith. He was a loving husband, father and brother. Freddie was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Gay Thomas Church and one sister, Eunice Mullins. Survivors include his wife, Melda Faye Church; two sons, Freddie Allen Church and Barry Church, all of Clintwood; one sister Sue Rose and husband, Lee of Culpepper, Virginia; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives. Funeral services will be held Friday, December 13th, 1:00 pm in the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel with Roger Fuller officiating. Burial will follow in the Rasnick Family Cemetery, Nealy Ridge. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends Thursday, December 12th after 6:00 pm at the funeral home.
