Fred Allen Counts age 57, passed away Sunday May 9, 2010 at the Memorial Hospital in Martinsville, VA. He was born in Clintwood the son of Stanford and Grace Moore Counts. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He is of the Christian Faith Saved and Baptized, He loved his pets and time spent fishing. He is preceded death by his father Stanford Counts. He is survived by his mother Grace Moore Counts of Clintwood, one brother Gary Counts of Clintwood, VA along with a host of cousins and other relatives. Funeral Services for Fred Allen Counts will be conducted at 1:00 PM Wed. May 12, 2010 at the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Mullins and Tarncy Mullins officiating. Burial will follow at the Charlie Sowards Cemetery at Flemingtown. Pallbearers will be family and friends. The family will receive friends after 12:00 noon on Wed. May 12, 2010 with Funeral following at 1:00 PM.
