Franklin C. Silcox age 81, passed away Monday, March 13, 2017. He was born in Dickenson County, retired from Clinchfield Railroad and was of the Baptist faith.

Mr. Silcox was preceded in death by his parents, Alamander and Alla Silcox and son Frank Silcox, Jr.

Survivors include his wife, Anna Jean Silcox of Elizabeth, Tennessee; one son, Rocky Silcox and wife Rozina of Johnson City, Tennessee; daughter, Cassandra DeLynn Silcox of Clintwood; three sisters, Evelyn Cassidy of Florida, Betty Staton of Ohio, and Mary Ann Christenson of Florida; one granddaughter, Kayla Marie Silcox.

A private memorial will be held at a later date.
