Flossie Kelly, age 88, passed away Friday, April 8th, 2011 at her residence. Mrs. Kelly was born in Dickenson County and has been a member of Sweet Home Church since 1978. She was a loving Mother and Grandmother to many. Mrs. Kelly was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Kelly, parents, Benjamin and Savannah Rose Harrison, five sons, four daughters, four brothers and two sisters. Survivors include seven sons; C.H. Kelly and wife Peggy of Pound, Larry Kelly and wife Mary Ellen of Wise, Gordon Kelly of Pound, Leon Kelly and wife Kathy of Pound, Ricky Kelly and wife Threasa of Big Stone Gap, Chalmer Kelly and wife Betty of Washington State, Johnny and wife Shirley of Oregon; four daughters, Scarlett Evans and husband Phillip of Coeburn, Audrey Mullins and husband, Harmon of Clintwood, Virginia Kelly of Pound and Mary Rose Masters and husband Billy Ray of Wise; two sisters Nora Lee Moore and husband Verlin and Zettie Stanley all of Clintwood; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Other survivors include a special friend, Ellen Hill and special nurses, Tracy, Shannon, Belinda, and Renee. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, April 11th, 11:00 AM at Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel with Elders Eddie Newsome, Jerry Newsome and Danny Yates officiating. Burial will follow at Kelly Cemetery, Mill Creek Road, Pound, Virginia. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday after 6:00 PM with a song service beginning at 8:00 PM.
