Fern Fletcher age 77, passed away Sunday, August 28, 2016 in Bristol Regional Medical Center, Bristol, Tennessee. Mrs. Fletcher was a lifelong resident of Dickenson County and was of the Primitive Baptist faith. She was retired from Dickenson County Department of Social Services, a member of Novel Ideas Book Club and Crooked Road Quilters Guild.

Mrs. Fletcher was preceded in death by her parents, Tivis and Stella Fuller, husband, J. D. Fletcher and sister Thelma Viers.

Survivors include her son, Ronnie Owens and wife Kimberly of Bristol; daughter, Sherry Willis of Clintwood, Virginia; brothers, Don Fuller and wife Brenda of Bristol, Virginia, Roger Fuller and wife Barbara of Clinchco, Virginia, John Fuller and wife Connie of Simpsonville, SC, Harold Fuller and wife Rebecca of Clintwood; one sister, Margie Barton and husband Beecher of Clinchco, Virginia; grandchildren, Jessica, Josh, Sophie, and Sam; great grandchildren, Abby and Alex; step-son, Rick Fletcher and wife Pam of Clintwood; step daughter, Kim Turner of Clintwood.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, August 31st , at 7:00 PM in the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel with Elders Roger Fuller, Jim O'Quinn, and Noah Kim Edwards officiating. Visitation will begin at 5:00 PM until time of service. Entombment services will be Thursday, September 1 st , 2:00 PM in Forest Hills Cemetery, Abingdon, Virginia.
