Lottie Faye Strouth age 80, passed away Thursday, January 6, 2022 at Holston Valley Medical Center, Kingsport, Tennessee. Mrs. Strouth was born in Ash Camp, Kentucky but lived most of her life in Clintwood. She is the daughter of the late Emory and Pall Fleming. Mrs. Strouth worked at Longs Fork and Clintwood Schools. She was a CNA and retired from Home Health Nursing. Mrs. Strouth was of the Christian faith and served the Lord through her singing group, Gospel Lights. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Mrs. Strouth was preceded in death by her parents, Emory and Pall Fleming; brothers, Fitzu, Hansford Lee, AC, Homer and Pearlie Fleming; sisters, Birtie Stanley and Beatrice Williams.
Survivors include her husband, Roy Strouth and son Blaine Strouth, both of Clintwood; her daughter, Debbie Dotson and husband Keith of Clintwood; one sister, Ida Lou Little of Youngstown, Ohio; four grandchildren, Hope Dotson, Jacob Dotson, Hannah Dotson and Dakota Strouth; one great-grandchild, Christopher Blaine Strouth.
The family will receive friends Monday, January 10 th from 5pm until 7pm at the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will begin at 7 pm with Randy Carter and Tim Mullins officiating. Family and friends are requested to meet at the funeral home at Noon on Tuesday, January 11 th , to proceed to Temple Hill Memorial Park for entombment at 1 pm. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
