Evelyn Sue Johnson, age 82, passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center, Lexington, KY. She was the daughter of the late Toby and Beulah Anderson. She was a lifelong resident of Clintwood. She was of the Christian Faith, a loving mother and grandmother.

She is preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, James Anderson, Carter Anderson and Elmer Anderson.

Survivors include one son Terry Johnson, two daughters, Carolyn Brown and Brenda Baker and husband Roy, sisters, Deane Stanley, Lois Slemp, Rita Anderson, Rosalee Mooney and husband Burl, Gladys Fleming and husband Joe. Along with 4 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren along with a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 12 noon on Thursday, January 23, 2025, at the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel with Frank Hall officiating. Burial will follow at the Anderson Family Cemetery, South Mountain Road, Clintwood. The family will receive friends from 11 AM until service time.
