Ernie Myron Duncan, age 71, passed away Wednesday April 1, 2026, at the Heritage Hall Health Care of Clintwood with his loving family by his side. He was the son of the late Roy and Margie Ramsey Duncan. He was a Graduate of Haysi High School class of 1974.  Ernie enjoyed time spent with his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, one brother Danny Duncan and a sister Pamela Duncan.

He is survived by his brothers Sherrell Duncan and wife Mary Ann of Shelby, OH. And Donald Duncan and wife Mona, Haysi, VA. sisters Teresa Justice and Victoria Duncan of Pikeville, KY. And Paula Stanley and husband Scott of Clintwood, VA. along with several nieces, nephews and host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Ernie Duncan will be held at 7 PM Thursday April 2, 2026, at the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel with Ronnie Counts officiating. Burial will follow 12 Noon Friday April 3, 2026 with a graveside service at Temple Hill Memorial Park Castlewood, VA. Pallbearers will be family and friends. The Family receive friends from 6 PM till service time. Family will meet at Graveside at 12 Noon.
