Ernest Jerome Marshall, 83, formerly of Clintwood, Virginia passed away Thursday, September 17, 2020 in Lexington, SC.

Born on April 18, 1937 in Fayette County, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Rosetta Bennet Rumbaugh and James Buchanan Marshall.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Harriet Rosemary Marshall; two brother's John Bennett and Jim Marshall; one sister Elizabeth Marshall; and one half-brother Bill Rumbaugh.

He was survived by his son, Wes Marshall and wife Sandi of Coeburn, Va.; daughter, Christy Stallard and husband John of Lexington, SC; Grandchildren, Lauren McCoy, Devin Gibson, Teagan Marshall, and Trace Marshall; Great Grandchildren, Jeb Gibson and Casen Marshall; One Brother, Eugene Marshall; one half-sister, Irene Scott; and many nieces and nephews.

A private memorial service will be conducted at a later date.
