Emma Irene Perrigan age 78 passed away Friday November 22, 2013 at the Holston Valley Medical Center, Kingsport, TN. She was a lifelong resident of Dickenson County, A loving Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother to many. She loved time with family, quilting and gardening. She was of the Baptist Faith. Preceding her death are her parents Dewey S. Moore and Zelphia Silcox Moore, three brothers, three sisters, one son and three grandsons. Survivors include two Sons; Roy Perrigan, Emerson Perrigan and wife Jennifer all of Dante, VA. two daughters Angelina Bailey and Caroline Neece and husband Farley all of Dante, VA. one sister Malvie Bailey of Nora, VA. Nine Grandchildren, Nine Great Grandchildren and two Step-Grandchildren. Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Tuesday November 26, 2013 at the Buffalo Church with Darrell Milgrim and James Moore officiating. Burial will follow at the Wright-Perrigan Cemetery in the Middle of the World section of Dante. The family will receive friends after 6 PM Monday evening at the Buffalo Church where services will be held at 7PM.
