Elsie Thompson age 82, passed away Friday, November 20, 2020 at her home.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin and Rosa Bell Baker; husband, Philetuef Thompson; brothers, Thomas Jefferson Baker and Lucky Rufus Baker; sisters, Flora Rose, Alkia Mae Bostic, Alpha Faye Haynes and two infant siblings, Emmitt and Winnie Baker.

Survivors include her brother, Alvin Baker, Jr. and wife Pina; special niece, Linda Stanley and several other nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Elsie Thompson will be conducted at 7 PM Monday evening Nov. 23, 2020 at the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel with Frank Hall and Josh Dingus officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 PM till service time. Burial will follow Graveside services 1 PM Tue. Nov. 24, 2020 at the Mullins Cemetery Cutter Creek section of Clintwood. Pallbearers will be family and friends.

Services will follow current Covid-19 regulations set forth by the State of Virginia.
