Elsie Faye Smith age 84, passed away Sunday, January 16, 2022 at Bristol Regional Hospital, Bristol, Tennessee. Mrs. Smith was a lifelong resident of Clintwood and a member of Flemingtown Freewill Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Mrs. Smith loved cooking, canning and working in her garden and flowers.

Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Smith; parents, Cowan and Maxie Stanley; sons, Larry Smith and Jeff Smith and daughters, Peggy Smith and Kathline Smith Rose.

Survivors include daughters Sandra Balthis and Crystal Dawn Smith of Clintwood; three grandchildren, Jordan Pharr, Starlett Smith, Danielle Branham and two great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Lisa Obert and brother-in-law, Richard Neilson.

A graveside service will be held Friday, January 21st, 2 pm at the Dutton Family Cemetery on Wild Cat Ridge. Everyone is requested to meet at cemetery.  David Kilgore will officiate. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
