Doris Ann Dotson age 82, passed away at Norton Community Hospital, Norton, Virginia. Miss Dotson was a lifelong resident of Clintwood.  She was the daughter of Arvil and Lena Dotson.   She was a loving sister who enjoyed time with her family.  Miss Dotson was preceded in death by her parents and 2 infant brothers, Greg and Charles.

Survivors include her brothers, Darrell Dotson, Jackie Dotson and wife Dorothy all of Clintwood; 1 sister, Gayle Shumate Harsh and husband Don of Warrenton, Virginia; nieces, Tina Dotson and Jacqueline Mountjoy, nephews, Allen Dotson, Johnny Dotson, Lance Dotson, Keith Dotson, Greg Dotson and Dax Shumate; several great-nieces, great-nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Family will receive friends Saturday, June 23rd at 10 AM in the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel.   Funeral services will begin at 11 AM with Keith Dotson officiating.  Burial will follow in the Powers Family Cemetery on Powers Branch.  Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
