Donald Roger Slemp age 72, passed away Sat. June 19, 2021 at the Johnson City Medical Center. He was the son of Frank Haburn and Nina Lou Slemp, a graduate of Clintwood High School, served his Country in the United States Navy and United States Marine Corps. Mr. Slemp was of the Christian faith.

He is preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Kyle Slemp and sister-in-law Wilma Slemp.

Survivors include his sons, Wesley Slemp of Lebanon, VA and Adam Slemp of Clintwood, VA.

Three brothers; Tom Slemp and wife Ann of Coeburn, VA, Ralph Slemp also of Coeburn and Jack Slemp and wife Rube Faye, Clintwood.  Several nieces and nephews and host of other relatives and friends.

Special thanks to Eddie Rose and all Health Care workers, which provided care for Donald.

Funeral Services for Donald Roger Slemp will be conducted 7 pm Wed. June 23, 2021 at the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel with Darrell Milgrim, Chris Rose and Eddie Rose officiating. Visitation will begin at 6 pm.  Burial will follow Thurs. 11:00 am at the Slemp Family Cemetery, Tempes Branch, Coeburn.  Pallbearers will be family and friends.
