Dollie Mae Mullins Phillips, age 96, passed away Sunday, November 11, at her home. She was born the daughter of the late Willard and Nancy Mullins. She was a caring Mother and Grandmother. Her husband, Leroy Phillips and daughters, Nellie and Rozella Phillips preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Ferlin Mullins, Pridemore Mullins, Mack Mullins, Halter Mullins and Alvin Mullins, one sister, Rosa Baker, grandson, Jason Phillips, granddaughter, Tammie Davis and great grandson, Isaiah Fleming. She is survived by sons, Douglas Phillips, Truman Phillips, Clinton Phillips (Geraldine) all of Clintwood and daughters, Lora Bell Davis of Mayking, KY, Dussie McFall, and Ruth Phillips of Clintwood. Surviving grandchildren are Bub and Sabrina Davis, Teresa and Greg Hogg, Sandy and David Powers, Matthew and Beth Fleming, Anthony Phillips, and Veronica Lowery. Surviving great grandchildren are Whitney Hogg, Jerimiah Powers, Jade Davis, Troy Davis, Drew Davis, Matti Fleming, Amethyst Powers, Cheyenne Vaughan, Nicki Pennington, Aaron Pennington, and Matthew Mullins. Other survivors include one brother, Alfred Mullins, one sister, Alice Johnson, special caregiver, Carol Moore and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services for Dollie Phillips will be conducted Tuesday evening, November 13th, at 7:00 PM at the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel with Ministers Keith Dotson and Darrell Bolling officiating. Additional graveside services and burial at Phipps Memorial Cemetery at 11:00 AM Wednesday, November 14th. Family and friends should be at the funeral home no later than 10:45 AM for procession to the cemetery. Pallbearers will be Anthony Phillips, Matthew Fleming, Perlie Fleming, Kenneth Fleming, David Powers, Wayne Delany and Bub Davis. Family will receive friends at the Clintwood Funeral Home Tuesday evening at 6:00 PM.
