Diana Sauls Branham, age 76, passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at her residence. Diana was born in Clinchco, Virginia, the daughter of Glen and Pauline Sauls.

She was a 1968 graduate of Clintwood High School. She retired from the Southwest Regional Jail as a sergeant. Diana was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved classic TV and talking with friends. Diana was of the Freewill Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include two daughters, Stephanie Mullins and Kennie of Pound, Virginia and Jacqueline Thomas and Scott of Clintwood; her brother, Fred Glen Sauls and Karen of Clintwood; sister, Juanita Anderson and Gary of Clintwood; grandchildren, Bailey Thomas and Ashton, Toby Thomas and Skyy and Sadie Thomas; great grandchild, Marleigh Thomas; K9 companion, Bella.

The family will receive friends Friday, April 24th at 11 am at Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be conducted at 12 Noon with Joe Glenn Sluss officiating. Burial will follow in the Yates Cemetery, DC Caney Ridge Road.  Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
