Dennis L. Mullins, age 55, passed away at his residence in Big Stone Gap, Virginia. He was a member of the 1974 Clintwood High School Class and was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Mullins is survived by his parents, Morrison and Juanita Mullins of Clintwood, Virginia; two sons Dennis W. Mullins and wife Shauna of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and Darren Mullins of Big Stone Gap, Virginia; one daughter, Sarah Mullins of Big Stone Gap, Virginia; one brother, Donald Mullinsand wife Cheryl of Clintwood, Virginia; three sisters, Sherry Counts and husband Jimmy of Haysi, Virginia, Karen Meade and husband Eddie, of Wise, Virginia, Veronica Rasnick and husband Dwaine of St. Paul, Virginia. Other survivors include a special aunt, Margaret Wigginton of Clintwood, Virginia, a special friend, Kate Hawkins and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be conducted, Friday, April 1st, 1:00 PM at the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel, with Kyle Rose officiating. Burial will follow at the Dewey Fleming Cemetery, Osborne Gap Road with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Ray Hughes, Farris Fleming, Virgil Fleming and Ed Wigginton. Family will receive friends at the funeral home, Thursday from 6:00 PM until 7:00 PM with a song service beginning at 7:00 PM.
