Delora Ann Sutherland age 79, passed away Thursday, May 9, 2019.  Mrs. Sutherland was born in Roanoke, Virginia and was employed by Roanoke Memorial Hospital for many years. She enjoyed cooking, reading and taking care of animals.  Mrs. Sutherland was a loving mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mark and Ruth Barber; husband, Jess Sutherland; 1 daughter, Donna Doss; 1 brother, Michael Moses; 1 sister, Sherry Boone.

Survivors include her son, William Doss of Roanoke; 2 daughters, Laura Elkins (Bobby) of Clintwood and Melanie Stillwell (Scott) of Roanoke; 1 brother, Mark Barber of South Carolina; 1 sister, Teresa Corvin of Roanoke; 8 grandchildren, Kelley Baker, David Doss, Jessee Doss, Ellen O'Quinn, Cody Branham, Aaron Branham, Catherine Doss and Dustin Hartman; 9 great grandchildren.

A private memorial will be held at a later date.
