Debra Ann Hammons age 56, passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2013 at Norton Community Hospital, Norton, Virginia. She was the daughter of the late Emory Dickenson and Eula Phillips. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Robert (Bunk) Shearl; two sisters, Marie (Razz) Gaby and Delilah McCoy. Survivors include her husband, Clay Hammons of Trammel, Virginia; one daughter, Teresa (Terri) Dickenson of Coeburn, Virginia; one granddaughter, Kayla Sutherland of Trammel; two brothers, Greg McCoy of Trammel and David McCoy and wife Tonya of Coeburn; thirteen nieces, ten nephews, and several great nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, January 4th, 2:00 pm at the Trammel Church in Trammel, Virginia with Pastor Darrell Milgrim officiating. Burial will follow at the Phillips Family Cemetery, Phillips Hollow Road, Dante, Virginia. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Family will receive friends at the church beginning at 1:00 pm.
