Deborah Ann Hintz "Debbie" age 6l, passed away Thursday, December 18, 2014 in Johnston Memorial Hospital, Abingdon, Virginia. Debbie was born and raised in Clintwood the daughter of the late Roy Fleming Sr. and Burbridge Fleming. She was a graduate of Clintwood High School and Southwest Community College. She married the love of her life Michael Hintz in 1999, worked in health care, which reflected her caring personality. Debbie had worked at UVA Medical Center, Charlottesville, Virginia, Bristol Regional Medical and was employed by Abingdon Health and Rehabilitation. She had a love for gardening, cooking, reading and her two Jack Russell's Ozzie & Molly. She was a loving wife, mother and friend to all. Survivors include; her children Charlotte Vance and husband David, Shelly Baker and husband Pruitt and April Ring and husband Wayne all of Clintwood; step-children, Mandy Hurt and husband Clark, Cartersville, Virginia, Todd Hintz and wife Amy, Powhatan, Virginia, Nicholas Hintz and wife Haley and Chelsea Hintz; grandchildren, Samantha Hibbitts and husband Nathaniel, David Vance, Andrew Vance, Ashley France, James Ryan France and wife Geni, Cecil Baker and Chloe Ring; step-grandchildren, Lydia Hurt, Olivia Hurt, Clay Hamby, Natalie Hintz, Brittany Hintz , Adam Hintz and Brienna Hintz; very special great grandchild Ethan Cole "E Bug" Hibbitts; two sisters, Catherine Mullins and husband Jerry, Virgie, Kentucky, Phyllis Kiser, Warrenton, Virginia; one brother, Roy Fleming and wife Willie of Clintwood; several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services for Deborah Hintz will be conducted at 2 PM Sunday in the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Lynn Vanover officiating. Burial will follow in the Vance Family Cemetery, Reedy Ridge Community, Pallbearers will be David Vance, Pruitt Baker, Wayne Ring, Nathaniel Hibbitts, David Vance II and James Ryan France. The family will receive friends from 12 noon till service time.
