David Lee Goode age 60, passed away peacefully at Johnson City Medical Center Surrounded by family on January 11, 2017. He was born to Clarence A. Goode and Margaret E. Goode on Jan. 22, 1956. He was a member of the Lebanon Old Regular Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his father, Clarence A. Goode, sister Elizabeth Newberry and a grandson Donovan Evans.

He is survived by his mother Margaret Goode, his loving wife of 39 years, Shirlene Goode, two daughters Rhonda Bird and Donna Evans and husband Curtis. Two sons David Goode and Jeremy Goode and wife Yvette. Nine grandchildren  Chris Wampler and wife Taylor, Rodney Wampler and wife Tiara, Cody Wampler, Shawn Evans,,Jaimie Evans, Aidan Goode, Alex Evans, Chloe Bird and Layla Evans. One great grandchild on the way. Four Brothers; Bruce Goode, Mike Goode, Greg Goode and Shawn Goode. Three sisters; Pam Peck, Margaret Sweet and Rachel Miracle. Several Nieces and Nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 12:00 Noon Sat. Jan.14, 2017 at the Lebanon Old Regular Baptist Church with Elders Earl Dean Yates, Terry Oquinn, Bobby Yates, Mark Justice and Jim Mullins. Burial will follow in Goode Family Cemetery, Canyon Road section of Caney Ridge. Pallbeares will be R.J. Mullins, Curtis Evans and his grandsons. Honorary Pallbearers Shannon Mullins, Bill Mullins, Rick Mullins, Larry Mullins, Bruce Goode, Mike Goode, Greg Goode and Shawn Goode. The family will receive friends Friday evening after 5PM at the Lebanon Old Regular Baptist Church with a service at 7PM.
