Cynthia Ellen Rose age 76 passed away Saturday Aug. 8, 2015 at home with her loving family by her side. She was a 1958 graduate of Ervinton High School. She was a Member of the Methodist of Church of McClure for many years. A loving mother and Grandmother and friend to all. She is preceded in death by her Parents Leslie and Josie Mann, Her husband Donald Dempsey Rose, daughter Pamela Rose and one sister Shelby Rose. Survivors include one son; Donald Rose and wife Shelia, Odessa, Tx. Two daughters; Mary Ellen McCoy and husband Earn, Castlewood, VA. , Jessica Hill and husband Lee, Clinchco, VA. One brother; Frank Mann and wife Margaret of Elkhorn City, KY. Ten grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Funeral services for Cynthia Rose will be conducted at 1:00 Tue. Aug. 11, 2015 at the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel with Roger Deel and Jeff Wright officiating. Burial will follow at the Rose Family Cemetery, McClure, VA. Pallbearers will be Donald Rose, Earn McCoy, Lee Hill, Dempsey Hill, Jerry Harris and Jack Wellman. The family will receive friends after 5 PM Monday evening at Clintwood Funeral Home with a service at 7 PM.
