Cynthia Anne Meade, born Oct. 16, 1958 the daughter of Hesperus and Tina Meade, went to her heavenly home on January 5, 2016 at Wellmont Mountain View Hospital Norton, VA.
Cindy leaves behind her most attentive, loving mother Tina Meade, Georges Fork, her older brother Mark Meade of Warren, MI. along with her dearly loved sister Mary Meade, two nephews Ryan and Shawn Reynolds all of Clintwood.
Cindy brought light and joy to all whom she met through her playfulness and bright smile. Although Cindy had special needs, she overcame many obstacles and stayed positive. Cindy loved cats and animals, and interacted with her cats daily. Cindy graduated from Warren Public Schools in 1984. Along with her mother, Cindy moved to Virginia and came "home" in 2006, after the passing of Hesperus Meade her father in 2005. Since 2011 Cindy has enjoyed participating in activities at Rachel's Haven in Pound under the devoted leadership of Janice Payne. Cindy made many friends and greatly enjoyed the wonderful outings and social interactions with the caring staff and residents.

Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated 11:00 AM  Saturday January 9, 2016 at St. Joseph's Church located main street, Clintwood, VA. with Father Arnel. Burial will follow at the S. P. Hibbitts Cemetery located Georges Fork Community. Family will receive  friends after 6 PM Friday at the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel with service at 7PM.
