Curtis Eugene Marcus Baker, age 20, of Route 2, Coeburn passed away Monday, August 12, 2013. May he rest in the arms of Jesus. Mr. Baker was preceded in death by his mother, Kimberly Gregory Mullins and a sister, Tamara Smith. Survivors include his adoptive parents Randy Baker of Coeburn and Tracey Baker of Clintwood; two sisters, Heather Nicole Baker of Coeburn and Elizabeth Brown of Kentucky; one brother, Brian Baker of Clintwood; grandparents, Eugene Gregory and wife Barbara of Morehead, Kentucky Rita Collins and husband Jim of Crawford, Tennessee, Mark Baker and wife Charlotte of Coeburn, Edith McCoy of Wise and Clayetta Hobbs of Pound; special friends Tim and Patricia Mullins plus a host of other family and friends. The family will receive friends Wednesday, August 14, 2013 from 6:00 until 7:00 pm in the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel. A service will be held at 7:00 pm with Clifton Caulthorne officiating. Family and friends are requested to meet at the funeral home at 12:30 pm on Thursday, August 15th, to proceed to Stanley Cemetery off Little Brushy Road for graveside services at 1:00 pm. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home.
