Connor Edward Green, six months old of Clintwood, went to be with the Lord on Monday July 3, 2006 at the Johnson City Medical Center. The only child of Gallie Russell and Katie Irene Gibson Green was born January 10, 2006 at the Bristol Regional Medical Center. He was a beautiful baby with a quick smile. He was baptized on Sunday June 25, 2006 by father Gerald Ataka. He is survived by his grandparents Jerry Green and Mary Rose, Robert and Debbie Gibson, and Nancy and Tim Young. He has several aunts and uncles. They include Sherry and Jim Knarr, Michelle and Michael Miller, Holly Conrad, Jolene Green, Jim Watson, Jerry Green II, Amanda Rose, Michael Ramey, Joseph Gibson, Sarah and Mike Akers. His immediate cousins include Jack, Caleb, Cade, Stephanie Elise and Hannah. He is also survived by his great-grandparents Agnes Green Hall, G. Russell Haskin, and Graham and Elizabeth Simpson. He is preceded in death by his grandmother Jeanette Haskin Green, Aunt Stephanie Thompson, great-grandfather Gallie Green, great grandmother Leoma Haskin and great-grandparents Donald and Dorothy Destelhorst. Services for Connor Edward Green will be held on Wednesday July 5, 2006 at 2 PM at the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel with Father Tim Drake officiating. A Private family burial will take place following the service at the Green Family Cemetery. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider a memorial donation to the family.
