Clyde Allen (Buddy) Jones age 66, lost his battle with cancer on May 8, 2018 at home with family and friends by his side. Mr. Jones was born in Dickenson County to the late Billy Jones and Itley Brummett.  He was a loving husband, father and brother.  Mr. Jones enjoyed farming.

Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his infant son; mother, Itley Brummett; father Bill Jones; step-father, Price Brummett; his sister, Virginia Shortridge and brother, Ike Jones; 2 nephews, Israel Kelly and William Jones.

Survivors include his wife of forty-two years, Wanda Jones; one daughter, Tonya Bowen and husband James of Clintwood; 2 sons, Timothy Jones and wife Debra of Clintwood and Matthew Jones and wife Brittney of Garrett, Kentucky; 7 grandchildren, Jasmine Bowen, Jimmy Bowen, Abigail Jones, Madison Jones, Kiara Lindon, Brayden Jones and Levi Jones; 2 brothers, Clarence Jones of Hazard, Kentucky and Johnny Jones of Clintwood; 4 sisters, Ruby Mullins of Clintwood, Phyllis Davis of Baltimore, Maryland, Mary Kelly and husband Bobby of Clintwood and Judy Rose of Clintwood; a host of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends, Thursday May 10th beginning at 6 PM in the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel.  A service will be conducted at 7 PM with Lester Mullins and Wayne Keith officiating.  Funeral services will be held Friday, May 11th at 1 PM.  Burial will follow in the Zoey Hill Family Cemetery on Harm Ridge.  Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
