Jun 26, 1921 — Jun 4, 2016

He became a Christian in his late teens and has always been a member at Pound River Church of the Brethren, where in later years he became pastor. He loved going to church and he loved to sing. He even taught singing classes for several years in the basement of the church.

He worked for Clinchfield Central Shop where he was a mechanic and welder.
