Clessie Lee Vanover, 56, died at Welmont Lonesome Pine Hospital, Big Stone Gap, VA on Saturday, October 25, 2008. He was born in Wise County, VA, the son of the late Roy L. and Jane Belcher Vanover and a member of the First Baptist Church of Pound. He enjoyed his many friends and the companionship of his numerous dogs and cats. A sister, Joann Vanover preceded him in death. Surviving are one brother, Jimmy Vanover and wife Rosie of Wise; four sisters, Ella Latham and husband Robert, Pound, Mavis Steele and husband Jerry, Pound, Myrtle Vanover, Big Stone Gap, and Marie Ventro, Pound; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
