Christopher Dale Salyer, age 42, of Caney Ridge passed away Monday, November 7, 2016.  Born on June 28, 1974, Chris was a loving son, loyal brother and amazing uncle.  He enjoyed the outdoors.  The front porch swing was his favorite spot.

Chris was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jack and Irene Smith and Cecil and Reable Salyer.

He is survived by his parents Rex and Susie Salyer; his best friend and brother, Josh Salyer and wife Candi; two nephews, Cole and Brock Salyer; the love of his life, Stephanie Robinson as well as several other family members and friends.

Chris will be missed by all who were blessed to know and love him.

Funeral services for Christopher Salyer will be conducted at 1:00 PM Saturday, November 12, 2016 at Rugsby Freewill Baptist Church with Richard Hill and Wayne Keith officiating.  Burial will follow in the Rugsby Church Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Mark McCoy, Travis Graham, Michael Mullins, Brandon Robinson, Tony Robinson, Jarvie Robinson, Scott Caldwell and Jake Caldwell.  Honorary Pallbearer will be Roger Robinson. Visitation will be held beginning at 5:00 PM Friday, November 11, 2016 at Rugsby Freewill Baptist Church with a service at 7:00.
