Charlie Garrett Perry, age 79, passed away Tuesday, December 29, 2015. Mr. Perry was a resident of Clinchco for many years. He was of the Baptist faith and retired as a heavy equipment operator. Mr. Perry loved his family, time with his grandchildren and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Darrell and Edith Perry, three brothers, two sisters and one grandson.

Survivors include five children; Jenny Bloodgood and husband Dwayne, Donna
Arnett and husband Andrew, Edith Fields and husband Fred, Charlett Proffit and husband Garland all of Clinchco, Virginia and Anita Bloodgood and husband Gary of Norton, Virginia; sister, Juanita Sanders of Knoxville, Tennessee; grandchildren, Travis Bloodgood and wife Brandy, Brandon Fields, Michael Fields, Whitley Whitt and husband Shannon; great grandchildren, Paige Perkins and Katie Bloodgood.

The family will receive friends on Friday, January1, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM in the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel with services to follow at 7:00 PM with Matthew Deel officiating.
