In loving memory of Cathy Gail Stanley, age 54, of the Bear Pen Creek Community passed away on January 1st of 2011 at Holston Valley Community Hospital, Kingsport, Tennessee. Ms. Stanley was of the Baptist faith and a born again child of Christ. Ms. Stanley is preceded in death by her loving parents, Carl Allen and Ivile Lee Stanley and her brother, Chuckie Allen Stanley. Survivors include her loving soul-mate of twenty five years, Sherry R. Mullins of Clintwood and their loving son, Jason C. Mullins of Johnson City, Tennessee and one loving brother, Kevin Stanley and wife Renee Stanley of Clintwood. Other survivors include; two nieces, Kristy Hemphill and husband Martin Hemphill of Clintwood and Debbie Osborne and husband Tony of Coeburn, two nephews James (Bo) Watson and wife Tonya of Kingsport and Michael Stanley of Gate City. Also surviving are five great-great nieces, two great nephews along with a host of other relatives and friends. Special children near and dear include daughter, Snowy River and son, Gizmo. A private memorial will be conducted for family and friends.
