Catherine Vanover age 77, of Clintwood passed away Saturday February 24, 2007 at the Mountain View Regional Medical Center, she was surrounded by her family and friends. She was of the Baptist Faith. She is preceded in death by her husband Paul Vanover, parents Gilmer and Lula Browning, four brothers Roy, Guy, Fred and Carl Browning, four sisters Irene Browning, (twin sister) Stella Kennedy, Grace Fleming and Ethel Childress. Survivors include her son Doug Vanover, two grandchildren Christy Vanover and Taylor Vanover, one brother Walter Browning one sister Hazel Minson. Also surviving are a host relatives, nieces and nephews, dear friends and special friends Sue and Cody Taylor, Betty Mullins, Dora Smith and Virginia Browning. Funeral Services for Catherine Vanover will be conducted at 12:00 PM Monday February 26, 2007 at the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lynn Vanover officiating. Burial will follow at the Lick Fork Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be family and friends, the family will receive friends after 6:00 PM Sunday evening at the Clintwood Funeral Home with a service at 7:00 PM. Catherine will be remembered for her strong faith in the Lord, and for sharing Love and Kindness with all who knew and met her.
