Carolyn Sue Hill, 52, passed away at Welmont Holston Valley Hospital, Kingsport on Tuesday, September 19, 2006. She had lived in Clintwood all of her life, and was the daughter of Shelton and Ina Jean Hill. Survivors other than her parents are a brother, Billy Ray Hill and his wife, Ella; two nephews Joey and Chris Hill; several aunts, uncles and cousins. The family will receive friends after 6:00 PM Thursday at the Clintwood Funeral Home with a service to follow at 7:00 with Elders Victor Church, Garnell Gilbert, and Ronnie Rose. The funeral services for Carolyn Sue Hill will be conducted at 11:00 AM Friday with Elders Hoey Lester, Roger Fuller and Corbin Hampton officiating. Burial will follow in the Phipps Memorial Cemetery, Clintwood.
