Carol Sue Stanley age 68, passed away at her home Monday Oct. 12, 2009. She was born June 24, 1941 the daughter of Carl and Lessie Mullins Stanley. A veteran of the United States Air Force and retiring with the National Forest Service. She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers Tommy and Harold Stanley. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church of Clintwood. She is survived by 2 sons; Jerry Lillibridge and wife Rita and Christopher Logan. 1 daughter; Mellie Stanley; A very special grandson Carson Fuller, other grandchildren are Katrina Lillibridge, Nicholas Lillibridge, Whitney Logan, Jessica Lillibridge, C.J. Logan, Nathaniel Stanley, Tommy Stanley and Sammy Stanley. 2 brothers; Harry Lee Stanley and wife Mary and Max Stanley and wife Mikki. 1 Sister; Janie Phipps and husband Danny. Several Nieces and Nephews along with a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral Mass for Carol Sue Stanley will be conducted at 6 PM Friday for family and close friends at the St. Joseph Catholic Church, Main Street Clintwood, with Father Tim Drake and Sister Bernie Kenny. Family will receive friends beginning at 5:00 PM. A memorial service and burial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations be made to the Southwest Cancer Center of Norton, VA.
