Buena F. Large, 75, died at Dickenson Community Hospital on Thusday, June 26, 2008. She was born in West Virginia, the daughter of Charles Falke and Vesta Taylor Mullins, and a member of Lick Fork Freewill Baptist Church. Her parents, and a special aunt, Eula Gaye King preceded her in death. Surviving is her husband, Thurman Large, Clintwood; son, Michael Large, Clintwood; two daughters, Charlotte Large, and Jamie Mooney and husband Dicky of Clintwood; two brothers, Greg Mullins, Abingdon, VA and Cecil Mullins, Atlanta, GA; one sister Etta Nicewonder, Bristol, VA. Funeral services for Buena F. Large will be conducted at 7:00 PM Saturday evening from the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Allen Viers officiating. The family will receive friends after 6:00 PM until time of service. Additional graveside service and burial will follow Sunday, June 29, 2008 from the Temple Hill Memorial Park at 12:30 PM. Those wishing to follow the procession should meet at the funeral home no later than 11:00 AM Sunday. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
