Buddy Roger Mullins, age 70, passed away Sunday, July 22, 2012 at Dickenson Community Hospital, Clintwood, Virginia. Mr. Mullins was a life long resident of Dickenson County and was a retired logger and sawmill operator. He was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Mullins was preceded in death by his parents, Hatler and Nevlyn Rose Mullins and one brother Jessie Mullins. Survivors include his wife, Linda Mullins of Clintwood; two sons, David Gene Mullins and wife Tammy and Jacob Roger Mullins all of Clintwood; five brothers, Lloyd Mullins and wife Bellvie, Darrell Mullins, Coy Mullins and wife Rita, Kenneth Lee Mullins, Henry Mullins and wife Sue all of Clintwood; two sisters, Gaynell Phipps and husband Joe of Clintwood, Nancy French and husband Arnold of McClure; two grandchildren, Todd Mullins and wife Kelly, Cianna Mullins and two great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted, Wednesday, July 25th, 11:00 am at the home place of Mr. Mullins' parents on Cutter Creek with Pastor Joe Glenn Sluss officiating. Burial will follow at the Mullins Family Cemetery on Cutter Creek Road with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Family will receive friends at the home place Tuesday, July 24th, at 6:00 pm.
