Brenda Lee Rose, age 53, passed away at her home Wednesday, December 1, 2010 . She is the daughter of the late Covey and Merril Hill French. Mrs. Rose was an employee of Dickenson County Behavioral Health. She was a friend to all and loved by many. Mrs. Rose was preceded in death by husband, Jerry W. Rose, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Covey French, and one brother, Covey Jack French, Jr. Survivors include three brothers: Clinton French of Clintwood, Mackie French and wife, Wionia of Coeburn and Danny French and wife, Crystal of Clintwood, one sister, Peggy McFall and husband Mitchell of Clintwood. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews: Dakota McFall, Jodie Kendrick, Shamberly French, Melissa French, Kent French, Denny French, Logan French, Covey French, Acilla French, Michael Olinger, Addie Olinger, and Cameron French. A memorial service will be conducted Monday, December 6th, 7:00 PM at Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel with Tam Hill officiating.
