Brenda Artrip Mullins age 75, passed away Monday, October 16. 2017 at her residence.  Mrs. Mullins was a lifelong resident of Dickenson County, a 1961 graduate of Clintwood High School and a graduate Clinch Valley College, Wise, Virginia.  She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Mrs. Mullins was preceded in death by her parents, Haig and Helen Artrip.

Survivors include her husband, Elwood Mullins of Clintwood; two sons, Shannon Mullins and wife Kristie, Shelly Mullins and wife Jennifer all of Clintwood; grandchildren, Tyler Mullins of Radford, Virginia, Kayla Mullins of Pikeville, Kentucky, Austin Mullins and Dustin Mullins of Clintwood.; special caregivers, Sheliah Vitatoe, Paytria Bolling, Rosie Mullins, Amanda Moore and Trish Kiser.

Family will receive friends, Tuesday, October 17th at 5:00 PM in the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel.  Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 PM with Lynn Vanover officiating.  Graveside services will be held Wednesday, October 18th at 2:00 PM in the Mullins Family Cemetery, Little Doc Hollow Road with Joe Glenn Sluss officiating.  Joe Mullins, Willie Brooks, Mike Mullins, Creed Fleming, Bill Morgan and Charles Morgan will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers, Ronnie Rose, Mike Yates, Alan Compton and Charlie Turner.
