Vonda Elizabeth "Bonnie" Rose age 83 went home to be with the Lord from her residence in Clintwood, Tuesday, December 26, 2017. Mrs. Rose was born in Dickenson County, the daughter of the late Everett and Pearl Rose.  After residing in Michigan for twenty years she returned to the Rose Ridge Community.  She was a member of the Old Regular Baptist Church over fifty years.

Mrs. Rose was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter, Pam Rose, infant brother and sister, two brothers, Cecil and Darrell Rose, her sister Beatrice Puckett and one grandson William Everett Rose.

Survivors include her husband of sixty-four years, William C. Rose of Clintwood; her son, William D. Rose and wife Debra of Lebanon, Virginia; her daughter, Patricia Rose of Willis, Michigan; granddaughter, Vonda Roll, grandson Paul B. Rose, 6 great grandchildren, Brittany, Dylan, Chelsey, Rebecca, Emily and Elizabeth; 4 sisters, Wanda Rose and husband Allen of Taylor Michigan, Edna Cantrell of Romulus, Michigan, Mavis Lambert of Ashland, Ohio and Scharlene Green and husband Buddy of Clintwood; several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family would like to thank their neighbors for their kindness and support.

Funeral services will be conducted 11 AM, Saturday, December 30, 2017 in the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel with Keith Dotson officiating. Burial will follow in the Beldon Rose Family Cemetery, Smith Ridge Community.  Pallbearers will be family and friends.  The family will receive friends Friday, December 29th from 5 PM until 7 PM with a service at 7 PM, Elders Robert Kelly, James Tackett and Carson Wright officiating.
