Beloved father, brother, and friend Bobby G. Rose passed away Saturday, March 8, 2014 while in the company of his daughter's family in New York. He was the son of the late Euther and Alka Baker Rose. He was an employee of S&M Core Drilling and Standard Core Drilling for many years. Mr. Rose is survived by three daughters, Nancy Rose Reynolds and her family, Melissa Short and her family, Virginia Rose Martin and her husband; two brothers, Jeffery and Joey Rose; four sisters, Venetta Sue Clark, Reba Rose, Rita Mullins and Martha Smith. He will be greatly missed by grandchildren, Jamie and Daniel Reynolds and Felicia and Bethany Short. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews that he loved very much. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, March 16th, at 1:00 pm in the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel with Kyle Rose officiating. Burial will follow at the Rose Hill Cemetery in the Rose Ridge Community. Pallbearers will be Anthony Rose, Joseph Rose, Bobby Joe Ramey, cousin Brandon Baker, sons-in-law, Todd Short and Christopher Martin. The family will receive friends Saturday evening after 6:00 pm at the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel.
