Bobbie Sue Cassidy Davis age 73 passed away at her home Saturday Jan. 10, 2015. She was born the daughter of the late Lillian McFall and Robert B. Cassidy. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparents Rev. Stewart M. McFall, Nellie D. Mullins McFall, Hilman Cassidy and George Cassidy. She married Clyde E. Davis May 25, 1957 beside the road on Jenkins Mountain. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her husband Clyde E. Davis; one daughter Linda Sue Davis Calhoun and husband Randy Calhoun; three grandchildren April Webb and husband Anthony, D. Andrew Stanley, Selinda A. Robinson and husband Daniel; four great-grandchildren Bailey Webb, Austin Webb, Hannah Webb, and Eleanor Robinson and adopted grandson Dennis McClain; nephews and nieces Gregory Allen Davis, Mitchell Davis, Donald Davis and Jimmy Davis, Gaynell Davis and many more; cousins, Dana Dotson, Sharon Farmer, Mildred Sue Yates, Julie Ruth Ratliff, Kay Beverly, Paul Randy Horton, Stewart Harold Horton and Buddy Ballard Horton. Her friends she would like mentioned are Mildred Fleming, Betty Belcher, Judy Cox, Janice Della Cruz, Henrietta Kelly, Lee Cox, Kathy Della Cruz, Lewis and Josephine Mullins. Bobbie Sue wanted everyone to know that she loved them all very much. Funeral Services for Bobbie Sue Davis will be conducted at 11:00 Am Tuesday, Jan13, 2015 in the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel with Manie Strouth, Randy Carter and Lewis Mullins officiating. Burial will follow in the Kilgore Cemetery, Coeburn, VA. Pallbearers will be Randy Calhoun, Charlie Fleming, Andrew Stanley, Anthony Webb, Daniel Robinson and Bailey Webb. Honorary pallbearers are Mitchell Davis, Dennis O'Quinn, Greg Davis, Gabe Johnson and Dennis McClain. The family will receive friends after 6 PM Monday evening in the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel with a service at 7 PM.
