Blaine Doris Reed age 75, passed away Monday, 06, 2024 at Norton Community Hospital, Norton, Virginia. Mr. Reed was born in Clintwood. He was a retired coal miner and was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Reed was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He loved music, guitar and singing.

Mr. Reed was preceded in death by his parents, William and Mazie Swindall Reed; one son, Blaine Jason Reed and two brothers, Farrel and Ance Reed.

Survivors include his wife, Doris Reed of Pound; daughter, Tina Reed of North Carolina; two sons, Billy Reed of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Waylon Reed and Ann of Clintwood; one brother, Lewis Reed of Norton; three sisters, Juanita Blevins of Coeburn, Buretta Farmer and Randy of Coeburn and Cheryl Fleming and Ronald of Clintwood; grandchildren, Ruby Huff, Skyy Farmer Thomas, Harley Reed, Daniel Farmer and Haley Reed.

Celebration of Life will be conducted Sunday, May 12th, 4 pm at Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel with Bill Knoskie officiating. Visitation will begin at 2 pm.
