Billy Lyall, age 69, passed away Thursday, June 3rd, 2010 at Indian Path Medical Center, Kingsport, Tennessee. He was the son of the late Lonzie and Mary Lou Blansett Lyall. Mr. Lyall enjoyed fishing, woodworking and family. He was preceded in death by his parents. Mr. and Mrs. Lonzie Lyall; two brothers, Aubrey Lyall and wife Maggie, Roy Lyall and wife, Carla; one sister, Rita Jo Delaney; two sisters-in-law, Janet Lyall and Betty Lyall. Survivors include his wife, Catherine Hawkins Lyall; one son, Roger Lyall and wife, Lynn of Jacksonville, North Carolina; two grandchildren, Julia and Ryan Lyall of Jacksonville, North Carolina; three brothers, Alvin Lyall of Clintwood, Palmer Lyall and wife Zetta of Clintwood and Rabon Lyall of Triangle, Virginia; one brother-in-law, Mac Delaney of Clintwood plus several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel, Sunday, June 6th at 11:00 AM, with Pastor Donald Smith, Jr. and Pastor Jack Taylor officiating. Burial will follow at the Lyall Family Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends Saturday at 6:00 PM with a song service beginning at 7:00 PM.
