Betty Alice Hill age 74, passed away Friday May 24, 2024 at the Heritage Hall Health Care of Big Stone Gap, Virginia.  Born in Wise, Virginia the daughter of the late Charlie and Doshia Addington. She worked for the Woodbine Christian School for many years later returning to Clintwood. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who enjoyed time with her family. She was a Christian and attended Valley View Freewill Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Ransom Hill two brothers Homer Addington and Frank Addington.

Survivors include her daughter Crystal Renee Maples and husband Floyd of Coeburn, a granddaughter April Renee Rose and husband Mark of Midland, TX. Step grandchildren Tiffany Jennings and husband Nick of Blountville, TN., Heather Maples, Michael Maples and Mathew Maples all of Coeburn, VA.

Her brothers Robert Addington and wife Wanda, Clyde Addington and wife Judy, Thomas Addington and wife Wanda all of Wise, VA. Great Grandchildren are Arianna, William, Kinsley, Dakota, Bailey, Nova and Lynleigh, along with a host of nieces and nephews other relatives.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 7 PM Tue. May 28, 2024 at the Valley View Freewill Baptist Church in Clintwood with Pastors Lynn Vanover and Kelly Fleming officiating. A graveside service will be conducted at 12 noon on Wed. at the Hensley-Addington Cemetery Rocky Fork Road, Wise,VA. Pallbearers will be family and friends. The family will receive friends from 6 PM Tue. Evening at the Valley View Free Will Baptist Church till service time.
