Betty Ester Brooks age 77, went home to be with the Lord on Monday June 20, 2016. She was the daughter of the late Nelson and Loucindy Yates Willis. Preceding her in death  husband of 44 years Kenneth Ray Brooks, and a great grandson Joseph Tucker Lyall, four brothers and five sisters.  She was a member of the Pound Fork Primitive Baptist Church.

Survivors include Ben and Donna Brooks, Lakewood, CA. Bobby and Tammy Brooks, Clintwood, VA. Willie and Donna Brooks, Clintwood, VA. Becky and Barry Mullins, Clintwood, VA. David and Debra Brooks, Clinchco, VA. Libbie and Greg Lyall, Clinchco, VA. Jennifer and Phillip Lyall, Clinchco, VA. Lisa and Robert Triplett, Clintwood, VA. Danny and Gloria Brooks Clintwood, VA. One brother Reese Willis Richmond, VA. And Three sisters Elva Baker Richmond, VA. Selma Hall Elkhorn, KY. and Evelyn Looney Harmon, VA.  Grandchildren include Justin, Shawn, Tanner, Kalianna, Keirstyn, Amber, Ashley, Amanda, Heather, Andrew, Thomas, Andrea, Sarah, Samantha, Shelby, Chasity,  Great Grandchildren Alexis, Addison, Brody, Katelyn, Karlee, Jeb, Aiden, Gavyn, Peyton, Ryleigh and Phynix.

Funeral services for Betty E. Brooks will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday June 25, 2016 Clintwood Funeral Home chapel with Bro. Roger Fuller, Jim Duty, Noah K. Edwards, Jimmy Counts and Corbin Hampton officiating. Burial will follow at the Temple Hill Memorial Park, Castlewood, VA. Pallbearers will be family and friends.  The family will receive friends after 6 PM Friday evening with a service at 7PM.
