Barbara Ellen Mullins age 101, passed away Sunday November 12, 2017 at the Mountain View Regional Medical Center, Norton, VA. Mrs. Mullins was a lifelong resident of Dickenson County, a member of the Lick Fork Free Will Baptist Church, and a loving mother, grandmother and friend to many. She is preceded in death by her parents John and Lena Powers Browning, her husband John W. Mullins, three sons, one daughter, several brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her sons; Leon J. Mullins and wife Judy of Lexington, Kentucky, Cohen Mullins and wife Wilma of Narrows, Virginia, Sherwin Mullins and wife Patsy of Cleveland, Virginia and Dwayne Mullins and wife Sandra of Narrows, Virginia; thirteen grandchildren, several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; three sisters, Bessie Hill and Lucille Mullins of Clintwood and Rose Ann Apple of Bumpass, Virginia; special niece and caregiver Berlena Aliff.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, November 16th at 1:00 PM in the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel with Darrell Long and Joel Cantrell officiating.  Burial will follow in the Powers Cemetery, Powers Branch Road.  Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.  The family will receive friends Wednesday, November 15th , 5:00 PM at the funeral home with a song service beginning at 7:00 PM.
