Barbara Elkins age 82, passed away Friday, November 25, 2022 at her residence. Mrs. Elkins was a graduate of Jenkins High School in Jenkins, Kentucky.  She worked many years at the Front Porch Restaurant in Clintwood. She loved family and time spent with her grandchildren. She attended Peuther Chapel Church and loved serving people.

Mrs. Elkins was preceded in death by her husband, Cossie Herman Elkins; grandson, Charles "P.J. King; granddaughter, Cassidy Elswick; parents, Kimeron and Goldie Gardner.

Survivors include five daughters, Annie Perry and husband Wayne, Janie Elkins, Teresa Parrigan, Jenny Elkins and Ranee Elkins; three sisters, Anna Hall, Donna Justice, and Reda Justice; nine grandchildren, Cossie Elswick, Wes Elswick, Chris King, Aaron Parrigan, Toby Parrigan, Savana Henager, Hunter Elkins, Jacob "P-Nut" Lyall and Makayla Lyall; six great-grandchildren, Jenna Rose, Kaeleb Elswick, Gaven Elswick, Dylan King, Jada King, and Trinity Parrigan.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, December 1 ^st , 1 pm at Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel with Joe Glenn Sluss officiating. Visitation will begin at Noon. Burial will follow at Elkins Cemetery, Georges Fork. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
