Ayers Phipps' Obituary
Born the son of Wilburn and Marie Callie Hughes Phipps, he had lived in Clintwood all of his life and was a farmer. His wife Dollie Lyall Phipps, daughter Carolyn Horne, and several brothers and sisters preceded him in death. Private burial services at the graveside were conducted. He is intered in the W.L. Phipps Cemetery.
